The Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) is a licensed member of the engine department of a merchant ship as per Section A-III/6 of the STCW Code. An electro-technical officer is one of the most important people on a vessel, especially when it comes to his/her expertise of handling electrical/electronics equipment of the vessel.

METO is a unique android app specially developed for all ETOs. Users can access this app from any corner of the world. The METO app is free to use and there is no subscription charges. The app provides accurate information which is confirmed to be true. The aim of this app is to provide accurate information about Marine Electro Technology used in Ships & to build a community to connect all ETOs worldwide.
